you always have the right connection .
Bring you an excellent and smooth experience for buffer-free online gaming, smooth video conferencing,
and seamless movie streaming.
This USB 3.2 Gen 1(USB 3.1/3.0) to 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet adapter converts a USB-C/USB-A port into a
(10/100/1000/2500Mbps) Base-T RJ-45 Ethernet port.
It can replace a damaged computer network card or connect a USB-C/USB-A PC to a high speed
Ethernet Network at places where a wireless connection is slow, inconsistent or not available at all,
which is a high performance and low expenditure solution and an ideal desktop network adapter/ laptop accessory.
It is faster than gigabit and future-proof, hence suitable for video conferencing, pro gaming,
large files transferring and video streaming.

How to enjoy 2.5G high-speed network?
- Broadband must support 2.5G or above.
- Connect the modem directly, the network speed can reach 2.5G. (provided the modem supports 2.5G)
- The network cable must be Cat 7 and above (Cat5e / Cat6 / Cat6e network cables only support up to 1000Mbps)
- The connected port must support USB 3.0 or higher, USB 2.0 only supports up to 480Mbps. (preferably USB 3.1 GEN 2)
- Make sure that the LAN port of the router and switch is 10G port, so that the connection with the computer can reach 2.5G.
(The LAN ports of routers and switches rarely support more than 2.5G, and most of them only support 1000Mbps)
- Check to see if your computer is restricted on the modem or router settings page. If so, remove the restriction.
- Older OS and kernel versions may require Realtek RTL8156B driver download and installation.
Question: I am connected directly to the modem, why is the internet speed only 1G?
Reply: -1. First, check if your broadband supports 2.5G or higher. -2. Please check if your modem supports 2.5G network speed output.
(The modem generally marks the maximum supported network speed, some modems only support up to 100Mbps or 1000Mbps,
usually gigabit ethernet only supports 1000Mbps.) -3. Check if your network cable is Cat 6a / Cat 7 or above (Cat5e / Cat6 / Cat6e
network cable only supports up to 1000Mbps) -4. If your modem only supports 1000Mbps, then your computer's network speed can only reach 1G.
Question: If I connect to the router, can my internet speed reach 2.5G?
Reply: -1. First, check if your broadband supports 2.5G or higher. -2. Please check if your modem supports 2.5G network speed output.
(If your modem doesn't support 2.5G, then your router also can't support 2.5G network speed) -3. Check if your router's LAN interface is 10G,
if so, your network speed can reach 2.5G. (If it's a Gigabit LAN port, your network speed can only reach 1000Mbps, most routers can
only support up to 1000Mbps.) -4. Check if your network cable is Cat 6a / Cat 7 or above (Cat5e / Cat6 / Cat6e network cable
only supports up to 1000Mbps)
Question: Can the switch and wall socket support 2.5G?
Reply: -1.Firstly, please check that your broadband supports 2.5G or above. -2.Check if your modem supports 2.5G network speed output.
(If your modem doesn't support 2.5G, then your switch and wall socket also can't support 2.5G network speed) -3.Check if your network
cable is Cat 6a / Cat 7 or above (Cat5e / Cat6 / Cat6e network cable only supports up to 1000Mbps) -4.Most of the switches and wall outlets
in the market can only support up to 1000Mbps, so the network speed cannot reach 2.5G.
Question: I use a Cat 7 network cable to connect the 2.5G port and USB 3.1 GEN 2, why is the network speed still slow?
Reply: -1. Does your broadband (ISP) support more than 2.5G? -2. Check if your modem or router is restricting your computer.
If so, remove the restriction -3. Update the Realtek RTL8156B driver -4. You can ask us for help.
