This listing is for an antique British Gentleman's travel grooming kit.  The pieces include 2 hair brushes, a comb, 4 glass containers all with sterling mounts or tops.  Also included is kit for writing letters/notes, a sewing item, 2 fluid bottles (stainless), 1 pin or match container (stainless), a mirror, a page turner, tongs and nail brush which look like they may be celluloid.  There is also a nail grooming kit.   The case is leather and there is also a canvas covering (not pictured).  The canvas covering is soiled and a couple of the clasps are missing.   The monogram on all of the pieces is Z.D.C.   The maker of all of the sterling pieces mounted on the brushes and comb was A & J Zimmerman of Birmingham, England.  The two clothes brushes and the come were made in 1909 while the two hair brushes were made in 1908.  The sterling bottle tops were made in London in 1909.  Maker's initials were P.W. and I have been unable to attribute the initials to a specific maker.  Some of the sterling pieces have the retailer mark of A. Barrett & Sons, Picadilly Square.   The leather case also has the retailer mark on it.

Very good condition for age. One of the toiletry bottles is broken, there is a small ding on the very top of one of the sterling silver lids, and all of the sterling pieces are tarnished.  The bristles on the brushes are dry and there is some loss of bristles.  The metal parts of the nail grooming kit have rust and condition issues. The silver mounting on the comb has a bend in it and there are a some missing teeth.   Please see all pictures for details.

Total weight is 14 pounds with packaging so this will be a bit pricey to ship.
