This is what’s being call a biscuit jar or cookie jar? It is vintage pottery from Czechoslovakia as seen on the bottom of the jar. This was made in the Erphila Art Pottery. It has a nice glaze with dancing children on one side and a couple of walking children with their goat, possibly coming back from the market on the opposite side. There are trees and landscape complimenting these figures. The coloring is like a pinkish brown. There are two side knobs on the jar and it has long since lost the braided rattan handle that would go into those holes under the knobs. The lid is clean and the knob on top intact. The rim on the jar has a couple worn spots which is concealed by the lid. Only one small tiny Knick seen on the rim (see photo). Overall a nice piece of art history and in excellent shape for its age.
