Mills Novelty was not only a leading supplier of coin-operated gambling and mechanical music machines, they were MASTERS of marketing.

In the early 1900s, when promoting their Violano Virtuoso, Mills produced a brochure entitled "The Electrical Mastery of Music" that described three instruments: the Violano Virtuoso (Piano/Violin), The Viol-Cello (Violin / Cello) and the Viol-Xylophone (Violin/Xylophone).

This high-quality reprint, measuring 9x12 inches, features photos of each of the machines, as well as others such as the Violano Home model and the "bow-front".

It is a 36-page brochure with descriptions of the machines, the quality of the design and manufacturing, as well as photos of the machines in various locations. The book also has pages of typed testimonials from owners who describe their experiences, as well as prominent musicians and theatre owners.

A wonderful piece of ephemera produced by the leading coin op and mechanical music and gambling machine producer of the 20th century.
