Photograph Notes: This picture shows stone and brick walling around the postition of the destroyed top gate of the double lock system on the Thames and Severn Canal east of Dudgrove Farm. The floor in the foreground would appear to be the cill, and the concavely carved stone seems to indicate the position of the lock gate. The fine brick walling further back belongs to the chamber of the upper lock of the pair.
