This BEAUTIFUL Zebra wood is grown in Africa. I made a series of Four boxes this year . This is number 1 in the series..

The lids need support to keep it from falling backwards because they are made from solid wood... not veneers...

 I designed them as best I could to make them look like the lid and base match, appearing that they are made from ONE piece. 

   If YOU want, I can add a support piece in back to keep from adding too much weight on the back... and they will open and stand to about 95 degrees.

   I wanted them to look like a solid block of wood, without showing where it opens from.

I have made and sold almost 500 boxes in the last 20 years or so, and now that I have retired, I have started making new items....

 I HAVE TO HIT THE 500 MARK AND BEYOND! 

Who knows how far I will go!

These boxes are super smooth and shiny! Each one is made with a different lining on the inside bottom.

They measure about 3" tall by 14" long, and 5" wide. They are sanded to 600 grit and finished with Tung Oil, then polished to 1,000 grit, and with Paste wax which gives them an incredibly SMOOTH FINISH and GLOSSY appearance.

 This one is # 492 and it has a beautiful Red Velvet, padded base inside. And... they are affordably priced!
