Very early solid brass figurine of Mickey Mouse which appears to date to around the 1930's, original purpose unknown as I haven't seen another the same. It is a rough casting with sharp edges at the middle seams. It has been sawn off either a stand or was perhaps from a faucet. There are no makers marks on the piece. It is a heavy piece measuring 9 cm in height, 4 cm in width at widest parts and 3 cm depth. This piece is most likely to have been brought when US troops were stationed in the region within QLD from the early 1940's.
