Vintage Set of 2 German Pewter Decorative Plates. Each of these plates display a different scene. One plate has a bearded man enjoying his pipe and a beverage. The second plate has 2 men in antique garb that seem to be counting coins. This second plate is heavier than the plate with the bearded man. These plates are beautifully embossed and detailed. The back of the plates show an encircled angel, indicating highest quality. These decorative plates were sold to us as German, but there is no maker mark on the back.
The diameter of the plates is approximately 8 1/2". They are about 5/8" high.
Good condition. There is some tarnish and wear.
