Description:

 Original antique Art Nouveau tile made by: Alfred meakin Ltd, 1900-1907, England. This tile was made about 1905. The decoration of floral patterns is embossed by Dust-press technique, where clay powder is compressed under high pressure in a mold.  The reverse side is marked with A.M. Pattern No396 and England.

Size: 6" square

Condition: Very good condition tile with very bright glaze.Bottom left corner is cut, this was done to allow the tile to be fixed in a piece of furniture,
