An album of 95 original photographs from a tour in India, dated 1901.

Original photograph album. Green cloth. Containing approx. 95 gelatin silver photographs, slipped loosely into window mounts, back to back on card leaves. Some captions in pen & ink on mounts.

Very Good condition. Minor wear to boards and spine. Light edge-wear to a number of photographs. Fading / age-toning to a proportion of images. Binding a trifle shaken, but all leaves still attached. One window empty, the rest filled. Please ask if you require a more detailed condition report, or view gallery images closely.

An interesting snapshot album, which mainly documents a tour around Rajasthan and other parts of Northern India by a well-to-do couple. Lots of temples, ruins and other sites, as well as some of hunting.
