VTG 1950 U.S. MAIL BAG C.R. Daniels, Inc. Canvas W/ Locking Strap 26" X 15 1/2"

VINTAGE MAIL BAG from 24 October 1950. Made by C. R. Daniels, Inc.8A in the United States for the US Postal Service. Has locking strap around the top that goes into metal bars. The strap is torn but will be included and can be repaired.

This information is imprinted on inside of bag and I have copied it here best as I can read it. I will also send a picture.

Also there is some added writing on the bag that says "8th grade basketball" and "Bro Mel."

The metal bars at top of bag for closure have some rust and show some wear.
