This is a mixed lot of beautiful Vintage to Antique Quimper dishes.  Made in France, all pieces are marked Henriot Quimper (the charger plate is marked HR Quimper).  First in the lot is the charger plate.  It is probably from late 1800s, early 1900s. This is a large plate, about 11" across and 1-1/4" high. In the center is a Breton woman holding a flower, flanked by more flowering decorations. Characteristic of this period, the white of the plate is not bright, and there are several chips & glaze wear around the rim. The most significant chip is seen in the 5th & 6th photos at the top of the plate. The paint looks "crackled" in several areas, but this appears to be part of the manufacturing process, as there is glaze in the "cracks". Surprisingly, there is no crackling apparent, even under magnification. We have noticed that the early Quimper plates have a lot of these weird bloopers.

Next are the very pretty shoes, or salt receptacles. This beautiful salt receptacle comes from Brittany, France and features the classic shoe or "sabot" of the Bretons.  One shoe features a Breton lady holding a flower.  The rims of the shoes are the traditional dark blue, while the underside is an olive green.  All features are hand painted on a cream background.  The hand painted stamp on the bottom is a mark used after 1922.  The shoe that features the lady has the color blue coming through the glaze, which was done during its production. The shoes are about 3" wide and just under 3.5" long.  It is about 2" high. The salt receptacle is in excellent condition.  There is minor wear on the unglazed underside of the receptacle.  There are no chips or cracks.

Next we have a beautiful antique HenRiot tile, made in Quimper, France.  The tile features a Breton man, dressed in red and blue, with a black hat and shoes, fishing. The tile is then bordered with blue and yellow.  This tile is one of HenRiot's early pieces, as can be seen by the style and wear.  He signed the tile with HenRiot Quimper France underneath the Breton man, and this looks similar to what he used on his pottery in 1922.  This is a wonderful display and collector piece. The tile is 4.5" square and about .4" tall.  This tile is in good condition for its age.  There are three very small chips along the bottom edge.  There is no crazing or cracks.

Next we have a vintage Henriot Quimper Breton Man Coffee Classic Quimper! Beautiful large cup featuring the Breton man in a navy blue and maroon outfit. This cup is trimmed in blue and the handle is painted blue. This is a hand painted cup from France. Clearly marked on the bottom is "Henriot Quimper, France" and possibly the painter's signature "723 bis". This cup was most likely produced in the 1940's or 1950's.  The cup has a diameter 4 1/2" ( 5 3/4" w/handle) x 2 1/2" tall. It is in good condition.  Tiny chips on rim of cup and a couple places on the bottom where the cup rests on the table..  No cracks or crazing.

Finally we have a vintage Henriot Quimper Breton Lady Large Cup. The Breton lady has a green, red and blue outfit. In her hands is a bouquet of red flowers. Matching colored flowers and leaves decorate the rest of the cup. The top, bottom and handle are trimmed in blue. Clearly marked on the bottom is Henriot Quimper France. We believe this cup was produced in the 1940's.  The diameter of this cup is 4 1/4" (5 5/8" across w/ handle) x 2 3/4" tall. This pretty cup is in good condition. There are very small "nicks" around rim of the cup, especially where the glaze was thin. there is no crazing or cracks.
