A contemporary photo processed in a photo lab years ago, this is one of several photos that Buddy Ebsen signed for our book shop when we launched his book “The Other Side of Oz.” He did several book signings at our bookshop.

I maintained Buddy’s website for years and was a personal friend. He was a fine, honourable man and a true gentleman.

The signed photo you shall receive will have a slightly different signature of Buddy Ebsen’s than shown since I have several signed photos.

The signature is in silver ink and is not printed into the photo or stamped on the photo. Again, you will receive an original signature of Buddy Ebsen’s on an 8x10 inch photograph of him as the tin man that was to be his role in the 1939 film “The Wizard of Oz” but inhaled aluminum dust from the make up nearly killed him and put him in a hospital for weeks which prevented him from the tin man role, and the part went to Jack Haley.

Your signed tin man photo comes with a document of authenticity stating that the signature is authentic.
