The Supreme 1S line was top of the line 3-4 years ago and still really good quality gear, 

it is very light weight equipment with extra protection where it is needed,

my son used this set for 3 years and they worked great for him, some freying on the elbow edges 

see pictures ! cant see it when they are on but doesn't effect anything anyhow.

we always sprayed them so there is no odors.
