SWAMP-THING 1--"Dark Genesis." While working on a restorative formula (that can make forests out of deserts) in the Louisiana swamps, scientist Alec Holland is killed by a bomb set off by Mr. E., who wants the formula. Shortly thereafter, a humanoid plant being rises from the swamp, created from the body of Holland, the chemicals in the formula, and the strange forces in the swamp. 1st appearance of Alec and Linda Holland. 1st appearance of Matt Cable. (Swamp Thing himself first appeared in House of Secrets 92). Script by Len Wein, art and cover by Berni Wrightson. Includes brief bios of Wein and Wrightson. Cover price $0.20.

SWAMP-THING 2--"The Man Who Wanted Forever." The Un-Men capture Swamp Thing (who is said to be 7' 3" in height and 547 pounds in this story) and take him to their creator, Dr. Anton Arcane, who wants to become a Swamp Thing himself. Script by Len Wein, art and cover by Berni Wrightson. Cover price $0.20.

Condition as shown in pictures. I am not a professional grader but would say #1 is mid grade while rest of comics are higher grade than #1. I would say mid high to high grade for 2-24 but grade can be higher or lower than this so please see photos and judge for yourself.
