This scarce antique volume is over 153 years old!
First Edition. Ex-library.
This antique volume is in good condition overall! Original publisher plum cloth binding presents nicely overall, showing some wear including a library sticker pasted to the front board, a library catalog sticker pasted to the spine, moderate sunning to the spine, rubbing and soiling to the boards and spine, some general wear around the extremities including light bumping to the corners and spine extremes, and soiling and spotting to the page edges. Otherwise this is a tight, square antique volume!
Internally, this volume is in good shape as well. Both boards and all page groupings remain firmly attached to the binding. This is an ex-library volume with bookplates and library markings visible to the front and rear endpapers and fly pages, as well as the title page and copyright page. Otherwise this volume is clean and free from signatures and inscriptions.
The text block of this volume is very clean throughout. Pages show light toning typical of age, as well as the odd spot of soiling or foxing, but are otherwise clean and free from rips, tears, writing, markings and other blemishes. Perfectly readable throughout!

Measures approximately 9 1/2 inches tall by 6 1/4 inches wide by 3/4 inch thick.
