DESCRIPTION:
This is a nice decorative statue. The item is made of cast metal Pewter (with some portions brass or brass plated) on a stone or marble base with an actual signature hand written by Larry Bird (see photos). The item is vintage. The statue art sculpture is from an estate liquidation (see photos). Every one of these basketball statues originally came with a notarized certificate of authentication of the signature. This item no longer has it's authentication certificate (as we are dealing with an estate liquidation and it is no longer available). The item has a Basketball theme with: The Legend Lives and Larry Bird holding a child (see photos). Larry Bird played NBA Basketball for the Boston Celtics. The statue is as shown with no box and no papers. The statue is marked by the artist maker: Michael Ricker in the sculpture dated 1995, on a tag attached to the sculpture #72/510 and with an engraved signature on the sculptures base dated for 1995 (see photos). The statue measures in total about 13 inches high including the base and it measures about 4.5 inches wide side to side at the base. The item has some dust on it and some minimal wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This is a nice vintage artist signed art sculpture Pewter metal statue and signature of basketball legend Larry Bird to add to your collection or home interior decor.
