A lovely depiction of coastal flowers and grasses, titled 'Coastal Grasses 1' and dated 2018 on the artist's label verso.  Signed in full lower right.

Painted with acrylics on canvas.  In excellent condition and well presented in a light wood box frame which is also in excellent condition.

Note Angela Sowden is a member of the Isle of Wight Arts Group and  this painting and it's companion piece can still be seen on their website under 'acrylics'. 

Measures 34 x 34cm including the frame, the canvas only is 30 x 30cm.

Angela Sowden graduated from Chelsea College of Art in 1996 then embarking on a career as a textile designer. In 2019 she decided to focus fully on Fine Art and since then has gained recognition for her contemplative coastal and nature scenes. She is represented by the Seaview Gallery on the IOW which offers a selection of her work from £350 to £1200.
