A collection of photographs by the French photographer from the 1930's who specialized in street scenes of Paris and everyday portraiture. He was a champion of humanist photography and a pioneer of photojournalism. His iconic black and white images of life in Paris some of the most recognisable to this day. He was awarded several prizes for photography during his lifetime and his work continues to be published and exhibited internationally.  All text is in Japanese.


Dust jacket is lightly bumped at top and bottom.  Silver card boards are in very good condition with minimal wear.  Internal pages are clean and unmarked.
