This listing is for a beautiful Kendra Scott Rayne, gunmetal plated necklace with a gray, mirrored back, clear, rock crystal quartz stone. The necklace is pre owned but in very good condition. The dark gray plating is in excellent condition, showing little to no wear. The stone in this necklace is a mirrored back cabochon, very similar to the way rhinestones are mirrored on the backs, but rhinestones are glass and usually faceted, and this stone rock crystal quartz and is smooth. The mirrored backing is metallic gray, as opposed to the silver or gold backing of rhinestones.  The stone actually looks very much like hematite on the side to which the backing is adhered. The front of the stone is clear, so you see through to the mirrored side. There are a few very minor imperfections that you see inside the quartz that initially look sort of like mild scratches or nicks, but they aren't. These are the cleavage lines that form inside quartz crystal, that resemble internal cracks within the stone and are part of the natural structure of rock crystal and add to the uniqueness and the beauty of the necklace. The necklace is a total of 32 inches including the extension chain. The pendant and tassel measure about 6 inches in length. The dust bag is included with the necklace.
