Rare and beautiful vintage 1920's silver print photo of a cypress tree along the Pacific Coast in Monterey, by California Pictorialist Leopold Hugo (1866-1933). Supremely atmospheric sepia photo, measuring 12 5/8" by 9.75", signed by Hugo in the lower right margin. Photo presented under glass and in a painted black wooden frame, total dimensions 18.25" by 15.25". In very good condition overall - there is a small mark to the photo above the cypress which may be a flaw in the negative itself (see the last photo I present); framing is slightly loose and some scattered light dirt has gathered underneath the glass, which has some light spotting.
