This meas. approx. 7.5" x 4.5". This object appears to be a vice or holder of some sort. When the top two circular vertical plates are widened, opened, the center round raises, then when closed it lowers. Very well crafted from wood, steel and copper.  The wood has a light musty smell to it. This item has wear consistent with age/use.
