Wonderful pair of two hand dyed linen napkins!
Beautiful damask motif with some open weave detailing.  Lovely hand embroidered center monogram GD.  Lovely aqua blue color.  Color consistent on each napkin.  Soft cotton and linen blend.
Photos are fairly accurate color on my monitor, if anything they are perhaps a bit softer lighter in person.

I purchased this set dyed, to tricky of a processes for me!

Dating from the early 1900's, Pre 1930.

Condition:  good!
No notable flaws.
Freshly washed, pressed and ready to use.
Please see photos and use zoom for additional item detail and condition.

Approximate measurements: Napkins 30" X 24"

Washing instruction given to me: wash SEPARATELY in cold water, line dry and treat stains promptly with fizzy water (tonic seltzer). I generally toss in color catcher. These are untreated for color fastness but they should hold colorwell with cold washing. I have numerous darker colors and they have washed beautifully!
You can also purchase products that will sea the color if you choose.
They should not be stored in direct sunlight!

I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected. The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special!
