This  is a high-quality Japanese hammer ideal for adjusting planes, chiseling, and nailing. • DOUBLE FACED HEAD: A dual head supports your woodworking. One side is flat, and the other is slightly domed. When nailing, start to nail with a flat face and then striking it with a dome-shaped surface to finish it. By doing so, the surface of the wood is not damaged.
• COMFORT WOOD HANDLE: The wooden handle is made of natural Japanese red oak wood that fits comfortably in your hand. 
• While it shows some signs of past use:  minor oxidation and warm patina, With exception to a small nick out of the flat face head (see pictures 10, 13, 18, & 19)  it is overall in very good condition and ready for a lifetime of use.  There are a few minor nicks out of the red oak handle as well (see pictures).
• Its forged iron square head is 3 1/2" long (9 cm).  Its warm red oak handle is 11 1/2" long (30 cm).
