The Si-Tex MDA-5H is a high-power 5W SOTDMA Class B AIS transceiver with a built-in antenna splitter. It is the world''s most sophisticated fully certified 5-Watt SOTDMA Class B AIS Mobile on the market. With its 5-Watt transmitter power, your vessel will be seen at longer ranges by other vessels and via AIS websites. The MDA-5H also features SOTDMA Class A Priorities, ensuring that your vessel will always transmit and be seen in very congested Commercial Harbors and Ports where traditional Class B units don''t have network priority.
The MDA-5H comes with an integrated zero loss VHF antenna splitter, eliminating the need for a second antenna. It offers NMEA-0183 data port, NMEA-2000 & USB intelligent connectivity to all bridge systems. The transceiver includes a built-in GPS & GLONASS satellite navigation receiver, ensuring accurate positioning information. It is water-proof certified to IPX7 standards, providing reliable performance even in wet conditions.
