Difference between DF487D and HP487D
There is almost no difference in appearance between the "Driver Drill DF487D" and the "Vibration Driver Drill HP487D," so you may be mistakenly selecting one over the other.
Vibration drills are power tools with the added function of simultaneously applying vertical vibration to the attached tip tool (drill bit) in addition to the rotation of a standard electric drill.
The vibration effect facilitates the release of dust and prevents clogging, enabling drilling in concrete, mortar, and stone, which is impossible with electric drills.
Please select "Vibration Driver Drill HP487D" for drilling in concrete, mortar, and stone.
The Vibration Driver Drill can also be used as a normal electric drill if it is set to the rotation mode with a switch lever to stop the vibration function.
