1979 Rawlings Heart of the Hide Pro H-C Player Issue MLB Baseball Glove John Lowenstein #38

This glove was used by John Lowenstein when he played for the Baltimore Orioles in the 1979 MLB Baseball Season. This was his first year with the Orioles and it was also the year they went to the World Series. The year was narrowed down using Rawlings dot code, which this glove is a 4-dot date code, meaning the glove was only made in 1974 and 1979 and John Lowenstein was only #38 in 1979 with the Baltimore Orioles. *In 1974 he had a different jersey number with a different team*.

The glove features Lowenstein's name written on the sides of the glove and the number "38" written on the middle/back portion right above the hole for the wrist. This was something he did as a player and can even tell in his 1975 Topps Baseball Card. This is the exact glove model he used in the MLB.

Very Good Condition, It has been cared for over the years and looks fantastic for its age, the writing on the glove has faded from age but is still visible.
