Rare antique Victorian three-pack Pop-Up playing card box in sterling silver, by Collins & Cook, Birmingham, from 1899. Beautiful silver box rectangular shape with hinged lid. Domed top with monogram, standing on four feet. Four faceted glass panels covering the modern playing cards of the period. The interior leather-covered spring-loaded pop-up mechanism can hold three sets of playing cards, ready for use when the lid is opened. Stamped: C&C, Lion(Symbol), Z, Anchor(Symbol). Weight: Approx. 800 g. Dimensions: approx. 12x7.5 cm. Condition: glass is a little loose, otherwise, see pictures.
