Built for clean and realistic midrange at maximum SPL, DS18's PRO-X8.4M 8" pro midrange driver can deliver concert level output with audiophile quality sound. The lightweight non-pressed paper cone and copper coated aluminum voice coil wire keeps moving mass low for dynamic response. That low mass combined with a powerful motor ensure high efficiency and excellent control. With a massive ferrite magnet and 1.5" high temperature voice coil former, the PRO-X8.4M can take up to 275 watts RMS continuously with minimal power compression. This driver will be an excellent addition to high output sound systems built to blow away the competition.
