1963 Built at the William H Albury Boat Yard. Christened Esperanto.

LOD: 56', LOA: 70', Disp: 25 tons. Designed by Fred Whittier.

1963 - 1975 Owned by Fred Whittier.

Sept 1965 Blown ashore in Marsh Harbour by Hurricane Betsy. Restored in Miami. Sunk by waterspout at Chub Cay. Restored in Fort Lauderdale.

1975 - 20xx Owned by Joe Maggio. He hosted the Sea Explorer Program for many years.

1976 She participated in the 1976 Bicentennial Tall Ships Celebration and the Boston Tall Ship Celebration, serving as Flagship of The Bahamas. Scott was part of the crew that sailed into New York harbour in the Tall Ships Bicentennial in 1976. "Quite an experience!"

Sept 1999 Blown ashore in canal between Treasure Cay and Marsh Harbor by Hurricane Floyd. Restored in Miami.

20xx - 2014 Owned by Jamaican businessmen - her days as The Pirate Ship.

2014 - 2019 Owned by David Wright who sailed her back from Jamaica to Man-O-War.

Sept 1, 2019 Sunk in Eastern Harbour by Hurricane Dorian.

Dec 2019 Refloated by Roston McGreggor of Valient Marine Services, Georgetown, Exuma.

2019 - present Owned by Scott Weatherford. Being restored on Man-O-War Cay.
