DIY Router Table Kit

Transform your Ryobi R18TR-0 Trim router into a portable, compact desktop router table with one of the kits available.

The process to make the router table takes hours not days to complete as the inserts and template provided cut down on the time required.

There are two available kits to purchase.

Kit Option 1 includes..

·         The router base plate for your R18TR-0 trim router + 4 screws for mounting

·         Two templates for routering the centre hole and the surrounding base level with the table.

·         2 BA screws and 4 centre hole inserts (10mm, 16mm, 24mm, 30mm)

·         2 Starter Pins (to assist with introducing material to the cutter)

·         Instructions & Dimensions sheets

Kit Option 2 includes..

·         The router base plate for your R18TR-0 trim router + 4 screws for mounting

·         Two templates for routering the centre hole and the surrounding base level with the table.

·         2 BA screws and 4 centre hole inserts (10mm, 16mm, 24mm, 30mm)

·         2 Starter Pins (to assist with introducing material to the cutter)

·         Dust extraction housing + bolts (int. diameter 35mm, ext. diameter 39mm)

·         4 T-Track knobs with track inserts * see notes below

·         T-Track Template (Produces a 20mm width by 121mm length channel for the rear tracks) * See notes below

YOU WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS

·          R18TR-0 Trim Router

·         Electric Screwdriver, various drill bits, impact driver or screwdrivers

·         Trend or compatible 16mm guide bush & 12mm Straight Cutter.

·         Aluminium T-Tracks & Aluminium equal for dust extraction/rear guide rail.

·         Screws & glue (if required) for table assembly.

·         MDF or Plywood Sheet (18mm to 24mm) & Additional timber for supports

·         Belt sander or files for rounding the T-Track profiles.

NOTES

I opted to make the design for this router table out of 18mm MDF but you can opt for 18-24mm MDF or plywood as alternatives. If you decide to build in 18mm I would recommend a T-Track profile of 20mm width 9.5mm depth. I can provide links to the profile used in my design. If you use a different track profile please message me as the track inserts and knobs may need modification before dispatch. The aluminium equal I used is 500mm length by 2mm thickness but again if you opt for a thicker profile please advise so I can ensure the knobs supplied will fit your profiles and tracks. Tiny variations in thickness can affect fitment so please check prior to ordering.
