In a single frame two elegant works of Asian Art are custom-matted and professionally framed under glass.

The painting on paper depicts a stunning mountainous landscape in green, blue and brown of huge soaring cliffs with boats on a water passage.  Small traditional Chinese dwellings dot the foreground ridge.  The original hand-painted ink and color on paper measures 11” x 15” and includes lines of script and red seals.

Adjacent is a beautiful fragile textured leaf-painting, crafted by hand, depicting a similar mountainous landscape and watercourse.  This is expertly crafted on a thin, delicate, perfectly formed banyan tree leaf.  This is a fine example of the Chinese art of leaf vein painting topped with characters and red seal.  It is mounted on white background and measures 5.5” x 11”.

Ready for wall display with secure metal wire and hardware. The back has been long sealed to protect the watercolors from dust and moisture.

I don't know the age of the artwork.  A friend's mom had it framed in the 1980s.

Thanks for looking.
