A black and white photo of a tree standing alone on a snowy field with just the hint of a forest behind it in the winter mist. The tree is (or was, since I’m not certain it’s still there) located near the site of Washington’s Crossing the Delaware River. It was standing during his crossing over 200 years ago.

The photograph was professionally matted, framed, and enclosed in glass.

MEASUREMENTS

Artwork – 13” x 19”
Frame - 24” x 31”

CONDITION

The photo is in excellent condition. The black paint on the frame has chipped in several places along the top edge. The damages have been mostly concealed by touching it up using a black marker. Most of the damages would be above eye level when hung, and so not very noticeable.

Despite the problems on the top of the frame, is very attractive when hung on the wall. The lone tree against the lighter colored sky is very evocative.
