John Harold Jonas (born 27 February 1948) is a well known British painter.
Over his career he has portrayed the culture on the French Riviera, depicted British sporting and cultural life, and maintains a current focus on portraiture.
His commissions include Queen Elizabeth II, The Queen Mother, David Camerom, Aga Khan, Sir Stirling Moss, Bear Grylis, Sir Richard Branson, Dick Francis, Lester Piggott, Vincent O'Brien, Baron Vincent of Coleshill, Lord Wakeham, Baron Walker of Gestinghorpe, Sir Henry Cecil , Steffi Graf , Alec Stewart , Albert Roux, Baron Levene of Portsoken, Brian Sewell, Tony McCoy, Satish Kumar and many others.
