This very detailed little ashtray is loaded with gems from this World's Fair, including a Zepplin, and airplane, the Chicago skyline and Fort Dearborn.  See photos for detail

The silver plating is tarnished and missing in places.  The base metal is either copper or brass, so it is soft. 

The 1933 Chicago World's Fair, also known as the "Centennial Exposition and World's Fair," was a major event in the history of the city and the United States. The fair, which was held from May 27 to October 30, 1933, attracted millions of visitors from around the world and featured a number of exhibits and attractions.

Some of the highlights of the 1933 Chicago World's Fair included:

* The "Aviation Building," which featured a number of aircraft, including a full-scale replica of the German airship LZ 129, also known as the "Hindenburg." The building also included a number of exhibits and demonstrations related to aviation.
* The "Electricity Building," which featured a number of exhibits and demonstrations related to the use of electricity in various industries.
* The "Transportation Building," which featured a number of exhibits and demonstrations related to transportation, including a model of the Chicago Transit Authority's new subway system.
* The "Building of Tomorrow," which featured a number of exhibits and demonstrations related to new technologies and materials, including a number of experimental buildings and structures.
* The "Fairgrounds," which featured a number of amusement rides and attractions, including the famous "Ride of the Century," a roller coaster that was one of the tallest and fastest in the world at the time.

The 1933 Chicago World's Fair was a major event in the history of the city and the United States, and is remembered for its innovative architecture, its cultural and scientific exhibits, and its impact on the development of the city and the country.
