This shot glass is a reproduction of a small beaker found at Jamestown. It was used for holding brandy or other spirits. Four raspberry prunts decorate its sides. These prunts are believed to have been practical as well as decorative by helping users grip the glass more firmly. This piece dates from the late 17th century. The Brandy Shot Glass is approx. 2”tall and 1 1/2” in diameter.
