An exquisite large Art Nouveau porcelain platter by Ernst Wahliss, Turn, Vienna Austria, circa 1900. Features figural maiden floating chest high amongst lily pads. She gazes upon one of the lily buds in her hand, with a serene expression with two yellow flowers affixed to her long flowing hair. The cream/pale green color pads are detailed in gold gilt. The piece measures approx: 13" in diameter x 4.5"h. Weighs approx. 4 pounds. In good antique condition, there is general wear consistent with age/use, there are some small chips/loss to the yellow flowers and buds, rough spots around rim and lilies, dust - see photos. Stamped with blue EW Turn Wein, Made in Austria hallmark, handwritten 189, 16, impressed 12 Made in Austria, Ernst Wahliss, Turn, Wein, 4566. A striking piece!
