Finally, back to listing amazing and unique finds.  Most everything I list is antique and/or vintage. But I love Victorian Era the most.  I do not list the same type of item over and over. Sometime I'll find collections and will sell them (most of the time) individually.  I like variety and I love beautiful things, but I love useful things just as much.

Because most of my items are over 100 years old expect to see some age-related wear or a little imperfection here/there, especially antique lace or fabric. Nothing more than what you would expect to see (actually, want to see to confirm age). Anything more I will point out in the pictures or the condition info.

I am so honored that you are looking at one of my items. As I tend to say a lot….it means the world to me!

The item listed today is:    THE PARAGRAPH BELOW THAT'S IN BLUE GETS RIGHT TO THIS ACTUAL LISTING DETAILS IF THAT HELPS :)

I was the winner of an auction held not long ago. I was hoping I could get it for my eBay customers

It was a small steamer trunk loaded with amazing photos and other items all from the early 1920’s.Her name was Mildred Armbrister, part of the New Amsterdam Theatre Ziegfeld Follies as a Ziegfeld Follies dancer.  I have been researching but to be honest it’s overwhelming me.  So, I’ve decided to sell it one picture/item at a time.  In some cases, I won’t know who the person/or what the item is in reference to.  I’ve got so many postcards from 1900-1920s that was also found in the trunk.

In each listing I will put pictures of supporting documents/papers, etc. to confirm that she was truly a Ziegfeld dancer and most all photos are from that most amazing time - the 1920’s….the time when the outfits were unbelievable Each photo is someone she must have known in her time there. The picture showing the date book and the photo of her ZIEGFELD GROUP and/or General Manager of the Follies at that time, do not go with this photo / listing. Again, just in the listing for confirmation.

Most all the photos have the photographer’s name. I also have a photo album with photos of her life adventures at that time.  I have photos signed from other performers in the show, who were involved with Mildred. But I could not find any information on Wikipedia; for Mildred, she is not listed anywhere.  That’s why I’m making copies of ‘other’ supporting docs in case you ever resale or are purchasing the item to eventually resale.

If you have any questions and/or clarifications that might help me, please feel free to message me anytime.  I’m going to start today, one picture or one item at a time.  I’ll do my best at identifying them for you.

Also, the price… I’m so easy to work with.  But it cost me a lot to get them and to get them here. I truly don’t know what to list them at. The comparables are rare, and prices are all over the place.  If you think I’m too high, make an offer.  But please don’t low ball as I won’t respond to people that are not serious about wanting them. But I’m thankful that you looked at my listing. To me and I’m sure most collectors these are wonderful snap shots in time.  I love finding things like this for you guys.  I’m always on the hunt.

SHIPPING   - PLEASE NOTE.....I (USUALLY) USE USPS GROUND OR FIRST CLASS IF UNDER A POUND. I NEED TO BE ABLE TO TRACK THE PACKAGE ALL THE WAY. HOWEVER, IF YOU WANT TO SAVE MONEY AND HAVE ME PUT YOUR ITEM IN AN ENVELOPE (DEPENDING ON SIZE) AND SHIP WITHOUT TRACKING, LET ME KNOW AND I'LL CHANGE SHIPPING OPTIONS FOR YOU.  IT COULD SAVE APPROX 2-3 DOLLARS, BUT REMEMBER WE WOULD HAVE NO TRACKING ON THE ITEM.  EITHER WAY IS GOOD WITH ME.
