Four different original vintage 35mm color slides of science fiction paintings by artist Morris Scott Dollens. Three of the slides are labeled SPACE BATTLE and show a space city firing at an attacker. The fourth one shows just the space city by itself against a field of stars. So they are similar without being identical and are variations on a theme. These are all exciting images which would have made terrific book covers.
I have only one of these and once sold this set will not be offered by me again. I acquired these slides from Morris in the 1970s and 1980s.
Slides are 2" x 2", image area is 7/8" x 1 3/8" and are in excellent like new condition. Original vintage 35mm slides. None of them are modern dupes. I knew Morris for many years but he died in 1994.
