Detective Comics #362, F/VF 7.0, Apr 1967
Nice tight
structure, VERY glossy covers. Astonishing WHITE pages throughout. Top staple
popped. Great to see such a nice ‘survivor’ comic. From a
newly-discovered original
Batman and
Robin versus The Riddler. A new model of Batmobile appears. Carmine Infantino
and Joe Giella cover art. It’s a cover that hearkens back to the Golden Age
with giant figures looming over cityscapes. Also love the ‘go-go checks’ at the
top edge, meant to make DC comics stand out on the racks back in 1967.
