This marvelous vintage large serving spoon is created in gorgeous sterling silver in the pattern Lily of the Valley Rose, which was made by silversmith Georg Jensen of Denmark.  This beautiful stylized pattern shows a Danish influenced design of joined lilies of the valley to surround the end of the handle.  The large bowl is oval shaped and there are engraved initials OMH on the back of the handle.  Hallmarks are:  Georg Jensen in an oval with beading, Sterling, Denmark.  Measurements for this fabulous creation are:  Length from top to bottom=8-3/8 inches, Width of bowl=2-3/8 inches, Depth of bowl=3/4 inch, Weight=2.52 Troy ounces. This marvelous sterling silver serving spoon has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent vintage condition, free from chips, cracks, damage or repairs.  There is light surface scratching on the bowl, commensurate with age and use, but they do not diminish the beauty of this lovely serving spoon.  It is the perfect addition to your silver serving collection and can be combined to use with other patterns for a very festive table.
