A group of 4 original vintage caricatures of three physicians and one astronomer, after Spy, from 1876, 1883, 1902 and 1906 issues of Vanity Fair magazine: Sir Thomas Barlow [Royal physician, 1845-1945]; Sir William Henry Broadbent [Royal physician and neurologist, 1835-1907]; James Manby Gully [hydrotherapist, 1808-1883]; Richard Anthony Proctor [astronomer, 1837-1888].

Overall nice examples. Faintest of age toning to edges of a couple and very light edge creasing. Proctor with small closed tear to far bottom left corner, well away from image and a few spots in the margin. Broadbent with light creasing to left edge. Lithograph on paper. Size: approx. 40cm x 27.5cm, or very slightly smaller or larger.
