Another great year for Fleer. I think Fleer did a great job taking over basketball when Topps put the brakes on production after 1981. 

1989 in my opinion, is one of the most impressive years in terms of looks, layout and style. There are lots of great chasers too. We all know Jordan, but take a look at the Pippen, Bird, Johnson cards, they are beautiful. Kevin Johnson’s rookie card could be hiding there too. 

Again buy for the chase or keep sealed for the long term value, either way it’s an exciting piece to own.
