A superb and big Chinese Batavian-ware porcelain baluster vase.
 China, 19th century 2nd half.
 Decorated to exterior with opposite large multi-foil panels depicting sitting lady, two boys and some of the hundred antiques; band of Ruy heads under the neck, band of stylized lappets above the foot-rim. 
All on the ground of chocolate-brown plain glaze. 
Inscribed with four-character underglaze blue apocryphal Kangxi mark.

Dimensions: height – 26,7 cm; diameter – c. 12 cm.

Conditions report: well restored damage to the neck. Minor firing faults.
