This white 10oz. ceramic mug is decorated with a highly detailed hand drawn colour illustration of Allen Collins’ 1958 Gibson Explorer by George Morgan

While some fans associate Allen Collins with the Gibson Firebird he played in his early years with Lynyrd Skynrd, it would be the Gibson Explorer he switched to in 1976 that would be his main guitar for the remainder of his time in the band.
Allen’s 1958 Korina Explorer was previously owned and sold to Collins by Eric Clapton and currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The illustration of this famous Explorer is original and has been produced by George Morgan following extensive research. This is not a photograph.

The guitar has been dye sublimated onto the mug. This means the image is under the ceramic glaze and is dishwasher, microwave and UV-proof and with normal use will not scratch, crack, fade or peel.

The durable nature if this process makes it suitable for use in the home or garage.
