Description: This attractive original old antique print / plate originates from: 'Beschrijving van 's Gravenhage.', by Mr.Jacob Riemer (1676-1762), published in Delft by Reinier Boitet, 1730. With many beautiful engravings of important buildings, churches, monasteries, manors and castles of The Hague, current location of the Dutch Government in the Netherlands.
Artists and Engravers: Author: Mr. Jacob de Riemer (1676-1762), the author of the most famous description of Hague in the 18th century. Associated artists and engravers with this work are: Gerrit van Giesen(1692-1750), Jan Caspar Phillips (1700-1765) and F.v.Bleyswyck. Published by Reinier Boitet (1680-1750).

Subject: Antique print, untitled (place in the book: vol 1 p 286). It shows several coats of arms of noble families: Simon Delalaing, Robert de Masimmes, Johan de Lannoy, Charles of Orleans, Thibault de Neufchatel, and others. This collection is dated 1496 in the image.
Condition: Very good, given age. Middle fold, as issued. Sheet a little browned. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
