Nikon introduced the lower cost and more compact Series E lens range to accompany the Nikon EM, FG and FG20 camera bodies. They were introduced to compete with the independent lens manufacturers like Sigma, Vivitar and others. They are cheaper and lighter than the standard Nikkor range of lenses but still have very good image quality.
The lens is in Mint condition with no signs of use at all.
The lens glass is bright, clean and is dust and fungus free.
The lens body is very clean with only the tiniest of marks to the bayonet mount.
The aperture diaphragm is oil free and is fast and snappy.
Supplied with original front cap and aftermarket rear cap.
