Lithograph Art Print ( Lot of three - as shown ) watercolor paintings by William McK. Spierer, entitled "Low Tide", "Red Chimneys" and "Sunshine and Shadows". The piece depicts a mid-century small town landscape scene's ( most likely Cape Cod ) and each are mounted on cardboard type material, two of the prints still have portions of the original "Product of Reliable" tag on the back.  Circa 1950's.

All of these are Signed in the plate. Hand signed title lower left. Hand Signed lower right in pencil.

Vintage preowned - these all shows signs of age with wear and tear, there seems to be some fading, edge wear and stains/marks on all prints - please view all photos as part of the items condition description - any questions, please ask. Great chance to score all three for a reasonable price !

William McK. Spierer (1913 - 1965)
Known as a designer, teacher, painter, lecturer, and illustrator. Spierer studied at Syracuse Univ. (B.F.A.); Du Mond; Boss; Bridgman, and he taught at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Spierer was a prolific and extremely talented artist who loved painting scenes in the Cape Cod area as well as Paris and Italy. Many of his paintings are of small-town life, done in watercolor.
