This is a complete N gauge vehicle from Kato, JR Series E235 Yamanote Line Extension Set B (3 cars).


  • The prototype is the To03 formation, which began operation in May 2017 (Heisei 29).
  • The distinctive leading section, AU737 cooler and pantograph, as well as the on-roof equipment, are accurately reproduced in a form that differs from the mass-produced predecessor cars.
  • The delicate gradation of the yellow-green line colour on the front and doors has been accurately reproduced.
  • All cars are pre-printed with wheelchair markings, pram markings and emergency door cock notations.

    Actual car introduction
    The E235 Series started its career as a new generation commuter train with a large front window, display unit and distinctive exterior design, and has attracted a great deal of public attention.
    It is now in service as the new standard for JR East commuter trains.
