18^th Century Naples Italy nativity figure

A larger than normal late 18^th Century Italian nativity figure. Hand carved articulated pine joint limbs, covered in hessian filled period clothing. Amazing carved humanistic features and inserted glass eyes. This item is rare due to its size and overall condition, a real museum piece.

This item is over 100 years old and shows loss in detail through wear and tear. The item is worn and faded in areas with a naturally aged patination. The cloths are faded and worn in sections, the painted wooden surface shows scuff and loss with one of the fingers also missing a hand. This item does not stand alone as shown in the photos provided. In overall all good condition considering its age.
